Directed by James Lipetzky, License to Operate is a story of former gang leaders' in Los Angeles efforts  to stop the violence they once helped create. This feature documentary follows the men and women with a ‘license to operate’ as they risk everything to break the cycle of gang-related retaliation killings and rebuild a sense of hope in their communities.
